On April 15, the 135th session of the China Import and Export Fair (also known as the Canton Fair) kicked off in Guangzhou, Guangdong Province. The offline event is scheduled in three phases, running from April 15 until May 5. Sichuan Province has organized 438 companies to apply for 1,052 booths at the fair, including 93 brand booths, 932 general booths, and 27 dedicated to rural revitalization.

The 135th Canton Fair covers a total exhibition area of 1.55 million square meters, with 29,000 enterprises from across the country participating. As of April 14, 149,000 overseas buyers from 215 countries and regions have pre-registered, and over 220 leading companies and commercial entities have confirmed their attendance in groups, setting a new record for the fair's scale.

A relevant leading official from the Sichuan Provincial Department of Commerce indicated that the province has sent a specialized team to be stationed in Guangzhou throughout the fair, responsible for providing dedicated liaison and professional services to the participating companies, assisting them in optimizing their engagement with the Canton Fair platform and in actively broadening their reach into international markets.

The three phases of this year's Canton Fair offline exhibition are themed "Advanced Manufacturing," "Quality Home Life," and "Better Life," respectively. New themes including new energy vehicles and smart mobility, industrial automation and intelligent manufacturing, and new energy resources have been further developed. The exhibition areas for electric passenger vehicles, lithium batteries, and solar cells, known as the "new trio," have been enriched. The smart living section has also seen a substantial expansion.

The 135th Canton Fair highlights achievements in advanced manufacturing, with an estimated 1 million new products, over 450,000 green and low-carbon items, and more than 250,000 products with independent intellectual property rights. Intelligent products, including brain-computer interface bionic hands, automated guided vehicles, and artificial intelligence-powered translation devices, number over 90,000 items; more than 50 percent of the participating companies are actively integrating digital technologies such as artificial intelligence and big data analytics to revolutionize their production and operational processes.
