On April 7, the reporter learned from the Sichuan Provincial Government Affairs Service and Public Resources Exchange Service Center (hereinafter referred to as the Government Affairs Service and Public Resources Exchange Service Center) that the Regulation of Sichuan Province on Public Resources Trading has been included in the provincial government's legislation plan for 2024.

The public resource trading encompasses a broad spectrum, characterized by a high concentration of power, funds and resources, leading to a complex interplay of challenges. The National Development and Reform Commission has explicitly encouraged localities with suitable conditions to pioneer the exploration and formulation of local laws and regulations for public resource trading, to enhance the coordination and uniformity of transactional systems and rules across different domains.

To further improve the business environment and actively participate in the development of a unified national market, the province has centered its efforts on serving diverse entities in public resource trading and started the local legislation work for public resource trading in 2022, initiated by addressing prominent issues within the realm. The Government Affairs Service and Public Resources Exchange Service Center actively coordinates with pertinent functional departments, takes the lead in submitting the legislative project application for the Regulation of Sichuan Province on Public Resources Trading, and spearheads in conducting associated key research and demonstration activities.
