The CPC Central Committee attaches great importance to Sichuan's work. General Secretary Xi Jinping has visited Sichuan several times and made a series of important instructions, drawn a blueprint and guided the course for Sichuan's modernization, and especially entrusted us with the mission of building a strategic highland for opening to the west and a new base for participating in international competition, which provides fundamental guidance for us to promote high-quality development and high-level opening up. It is hoped that the diplomatic envoys will seize this visit as a chance and view Sichuan as a window into the diverse facets of Chinese modernization, deepen mutual understanding, strengthen friendly relations, build more bridges for exchanges, and cultivate more bonds for cooperation, to continually derive mutually beneficial outcomes from deepening our cooperative endeavors.
