On December 30, the opening ceremony of Sichuan Forest Fire Prevention Corps held. Yao Sidan, Vice Governor of the People's Government of Sichuan Province, attended the unveiling ceremony.

　　Since the reform and transformation in 2018, Sichuan Forest Fire Prevention Corps has looked up to "serious discipline, strict organization, active service and paramilitary" of the disciplined services and the function orientation as "main force, the national team" of emergency rescue, focusing on the task demand to enhance capacity, successfully completing the forest fire fighting and rescue in Liangshan, Ganzi, Jinshajiang River rescue, Yibin Changning earthquake relief and other daunting tasks.

　　After the opening ceremony, Yao Sidan has carried out a discussion with staff members in the corps, listened to the work report on combating readiness, and expressed New Year wishes to the frontline officers on behalf of the provincial government. Yao hoped that all corps commanders should arrange deployment in accordance with standards required by the emergency department and CPC Sichuan Provincial Committee and provincial government, adhering to standardization, specialization, and professionalization, strictly managing teams, so as to bring team construction to a new level.
