At the same time, the State Taxation Bureau and the Local Taxation Bureau in another 20 cities (prefectures) of Sichuan also opened, indicating that the reform of the national and local taxation collection and management system has entered the stage of “reforming the provincial government to set models” and “full coverage of cities and counties” as well as the merger of tax authorities in parallel with the preparation of transfer of social security fees and non-tax revenue collection and management duties.

From now on, the new taxation agencies of various cities (prefectures) will gradually assume the duties of the collection and management of tax, social insurance fees and non-tax revenue in the areas under their jurisdiction. It is expected that by the end of July, the new taxation agencies of all districts and counties will also open. Taxpayers can handle all taxation services in the comprehensive department and online taxation system, enjoying high-quality services such as “one hall, one office” and “one network for all”.

Since the official opening of Sichuan Provincial Taxation Bureau of the State Administration of Taxation on June 15, the promotion and training meeting for the provincial tax system reform and the institutional reform mobilization deployment meeting have been held successively. All reform tasks are in accordance with the established route and schedule. At present, taxpayers can handle all taxation services in a comprehensive taxation service department and online taxation system.
