On April 18, Mr. Yin Li, Vice Secretary of Sichuan Provincial Committee of the CPC, Governor of Sichuan Provincial People's Government, met with Polish Ambassador Wojciech Zajaczkowski and his delegation in Chengdu.

　　Mr. Yin Li welcomed Zajaczkowski's first visit to Sichuan. He said that with the background of the developing relations between China and Poland, Sichuan and Poland have made great progress in exchanges and cooperation, displaying good prospects. With the denser frequency of trains of China-Euro Express Railway, the economic and trade cooperation between Sichuan and Poland will become closer, and more Polish products are expected to come to Sichuan while those of Sichuan will also go to Poland and Europe to enrich people’s lives. At the same time, it is hoped that both sides will work together to tap the potential for cooperation in more areas including culture, arts, tourism, and education.

　　Mr. Zajaczkowski said that the strong momentum of economic and social development in Sichuan is impressive. Sichuan is an important gateway for all walks of life in Poland to understand China and invest in China. It is expected that both parties achieve fruitful cooperation in more fields in the near future.
