Our reporter has learned from Land and Resources Department of Sichuan Province that Sichuan has officially start up a surplus quota circulation platform linked with the increase and decrease of urban and rural construction land and has set up a column for it on the official website of the Department for the publicity of the circulation agreements and inquiry of related information.

　　In 2016, Sichuan has taken the lead in the country in achieving an inter-city surplus quota circulation linked with the increase and decrease of urban and rural construction land within the province. At the end of last year, Mabian County of Sichuan Province and Shaoxing City of Zhejiang Province signed a contract to transfer 7,000 acres of urban and rural construction land, taking the lead in realizing the surplus quota transfer among provinces. In addition, Ebian County and Pingshan County of Sichuan Province have also reached an agreement on the transfer of 1300 acres and 50 acres of construction land respectively with Jiaojiang District, Taizhou City and Haiyan County, Jiaxing City of Zhejiang Province.

　　It has been learned that Sichuan’s start-up of this platform will establish a provincial-level integrated mechanism for the increase and decrease of urban and rural construction land linked with circulation of quotas, which will promote the efficiency of the linkage as well as land and resources' promotion for our economy.
