Recently, Mr.Yin Li, Vice Secretary of Sichuan Provincial Committee of the CPC, Governor of Sichuan Provincial People's Government, met with the delegation of Mr. Smith, chairman of Cochlear Corporation in Chengdu.

　　Mr. Yin Li welcomed the investment and development of Cochlear Corporation in Sichuan, saying that we will vigorously support projects construction and business development. It is suggested that both sides should cooperate in a wider area and increase R & D input in production of hearing aids and related products to benefit the masses for their better listening.

　　Mr. Smith said that the R & D base in Sichuan is of great significance to the global layout of Cochlear. He hoped both parties will make joint efforts to speed up the project construction and operation, so as to help more people with hearing problems for a wonderful life.
