Currently, the General Office of Sichuan Provincial Committee of the CPC and the General Office of Sichuan Provincial People's Government have jointly released notice to decide the official establishment of Sichuan Giant Panda National Park Management Institute and Organizing Committee. Mr. Qumu Shiha, Member of the Standing Committee of Sichuan Provincial Committee of the CPC and Director of Sichuan Provincial Committee of The CPC of China’s Rural Work Committee, and Mr. Wang Minghui, Member of the Standing Committee of Sichuan Provincial Committee of the CPC and Vice Governor of Sichuan Provincial People’s Government, are appointed as director and deputy director respectively.

　　According to the notice, the organizing committee will involve relevant responsible officials from relevant provincial departments and cities, heads of relevant counties in The Giant Panda National Park, legal representatives of some national natural reserves, and responsible people from state-owned forests and large forest farms.

　　After establishment, the mainly responsibilities of the organizing committee include organizing and preparing all levels of management institutes under the Giant Panda National Park. Currently, the organizing committee has specified the concentrations, including formulating and releasing the establishment implementation schemes for ,management institutes and the cadres, drafting relevant laws and regulations for the management of the park, driving the legitimate progress of the park construction, enhancing the coordination with the General Office of Central Financial and Economic Leading Ground, National Development and Reform Commission, the State Forestry Administration, strengthening the linkage with Shaanxi Province, Gansu Province and relevant departments, and advancing all kinds of pilots as well.
