On September 28th, Mr. Yin Li, Vice Secretary of Sichuan Provincial Committee of the CPC and Governor of Sichuan Provincial People‘s Government met with Professor Chao Chung Ting—Nobel Physics Prize winner, Professor of Massachusetts Institute of Technology— and members of the International Advisory Council on the development strategy of Sichuan University.

　　Mr. Yin Li thanked for the support from Sichuan University and all the council members for the development of Sichuan and expressed his wish that they could continue to provide their advice on the ways to develop the society and economy of Sichuan and bridge for more talents from abroad to start their business and make innovation here so that more wisdom can be put into the building of a beautiful , harmonious and prosperous Sichuan. Besides, Mr. Yin Li also exchange ideas with them on enhancing the application and promotion of scientific and technological research, building a top-ranking university with top-ranking subjects, and promoting further cooperation of the communication and cultivation of talents for better support and service from Sichuan University and the progress of our province in terms of economy and society.
