According the latest figures disclosed by Chengdu Customs, Sichuan’s export and import have rebounded gradually in 2016. The total volume of export goods in 2016 has amounted to 356.3 billion yuan, increasing 2.8%. While the import volume has reached 141.55 billion yuan, up 25.9%.

　　Reporters have learned from Chengdu Customs that the export volume of Sichuan in 4 quarters is 61.46 billion yuan, 70.47 billion yuan, 88.02 billion yuan and 106.35 billion yuan respectively, increasing -36.5%, 0.2%, 14.7% and 45%. The export volume and growth rate have both reached the highest point in the fourth quarter. The monthly export and import volume has been 36.94 billion yuan in December, increasing 50.6%, the rapidest growth rate in 2016.

　　Mr. Wu Jian, the spokesman of Chengdu Customs, analyzes that the newly established leading companies and the gradual releasing of expanded projects, such as the official operation of Junma Project of Intel and the producing line of Foxconn for personal computers, have all driven the rapid growth for manufacturing trade. The volume of manufacturing export trade of Sichuan has amounted to 180.74 billion yuan, increasing 24.7%, which serves as the main reason for rebounding in trade.
