On June 24th, on the First China-South Korea Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition held in Chengdu, 3 south Korean companies announced to settle at Jinrong International Square, Sino-South Korea Innovation and Entrepreneurship Park. The park has been attracted all kinds of South Korean projects settled, including first class venture institutes, incubators with comprehensive elements, technical and innovative companies and so on, signifying that it is stepping onto a fast lane.

　　Last October, leaders from China and South Korea reached consensus on establishing Sino-South Korea innovation and entrepreneurship cooperation platform in Chengdu. Shortly, Qingrong International Square of Chengdu Hi-Tech Industrial Development Zone was chosen as the kernel carrier for Sino-South Korea innovation and entrepreneurship cooperation platform and the first maker space agglomeration zone with the features of international innovation and entrepreneurship. Currently, the park has introduced 16 companies, 22 incubators, and over 200 reserve projects.

　　There are 60,000 square meters for China and South Korea innovation and entrepreneurship cooperation at Jinrong International Square. Apart from Chengdu Souduo Technical Co., Ltd., Sino-South Korea Internet Plus New Technology Incubators, Chengdu-South Korea Entrepreneurship Incubators, a batch of cooperation projects including Korea Investment Partners and so on.

　　Chengdu Hi-Tech Industrial Development Zone also signed cooperation memorandum with Jeollabuk-do, Korea Technical Risks Investment Group, Seoul Business Agency and so on to jointly promote Sino-South Korea innovation and entrepreneurship cooperation.

　　Apart from strengthening the gathering of innovation elements, the park has also been equipped with South Korean elements in surrounding supporting buildings. Now South Korean style restaurants, coffee bars and so on have been built to create a street with South Korean features.

　　According to relevant officials from Science and Technology Department of Sichuan, in order to better implement the important consensus reached by Chinese and South Korean leaders, now Chinese side has established a working promotion mechanism for Sino-South Korea Innovation and Entrepreneurship Park led by Ministry of Science and Technology and jointly participation of 12 ministries including Ministry of Foreign Affairs, National Development and Reform Commission, Ministry of Commerce, Ministry of Finance and so on, and Sichuan, Chengdu. Sichuan has also established relevant promotion mechanism for this park.

　　To promote the construction of this park, in 2016, Sichuan Provincial Department of Finance plans to establish special funds for the construction of Sino-South Korea Innovation and Entrepreneurship Park to provide fiscal supporting for the park. Chengdu Hi-Tech Industrial Development formulates special policies, highlights to provide supporting from rent subsidiaries, startup capital, employment living condition, venture investment, talent introduction and so on, and encourages South Korean high-end talents, entrepreneurship companies, and institutes to seek for development in Chengdu.

　　In 2016, Sichuan will hold Sino-South Korea Technical Innovation Forum, Sino-South Korea Industrial Innovation and Cooperation Docking Conference and so on to further enhance project settlement, company introduction and deepen mutual cultural exchanges and innovation achievements.
