People who actively adapt to this revolution will embrace with huge opportunities.” On the morning of June 16th, Mr. Ralph Haupter, President of Microsoft China, shared Microsoft’s digital revolution on 2016 China (Sichuan) Investment and Conference for Electronics and Information Industry. Several hours later, Microsoft injected this driving forces into Sichuan.
On the afternoon of June 16th, on the Signing and Unveiling Ceremony for Microsoft Cloud and Mobile Technology Incubation Plan Chengdu Chengdu Hi-Tech Industrial Development Zone Cloud Accelerating Base Project, Chengdu Hi-Tech Industrial Development Zone, Microsoft (China), Sichuan Association for Entrepreneurship and Innovation signed cooperation Memorandum and announced the official settlement of Microsoft Cloud Accelerating Base at Qingrong International Square of Chengdu Hi-Tech Industrial Development Zone.
As the first cloud acceleration base of Microsoft Cloud and Mobile Technology Incubation Plan in China, the project will be cooperated together by Chengdu Hi-Tech Industrial Development Zone and Microsoft (China), and operated by Sichuan Association for Entrepreneurship and Innovation. The project will take good advantage of the technologies, platforms and brand influences of Microsoft, the innovation forces of Chengdu Hi-Tech Industrial Development Zone, construct professional incubation acceleration base based on Microsoft cloud ecosystem, build Windows 10 application and development zone, cloud technology experience zone, VR display zone, interaction zone and so on, and combine resources and technologies of Microsoft with Sichuan’s enterprises and projects.
”Microsoft (China) will provide the most advanced technology resources and the most optimized marketing promotion channels in technology orientations and research fields for entrepreneur enterprises. The products will be promoted to the world through Microsoft system.” Mr. Haupter said that Microsoft (China) would supply the most advanced technology resources in the world, Windows 10 application usage channels and huge Microsoft enterprise markets through enterprise technical innovation supporting, enterprise business mode innovation supplying, and enterprise marketing expansion to support the rapid development for enterprises in this base.
Last September, Sichuan delegation led by major provincial leaders inspected and visited Microsoft Headquarters and signed Strategic Cooperation Memorandum between Sichuan Provincial People's Government and Microsoft (China). According to this Memorandum, Sichuan and Microsoft (China) would further enhance cooperation in could computing, big data and so on, jointly enhance the research, development and incubation for Sichuan’s “Internet Plus” massive entrepreneurship space construction and mobile Internet application, and construct cooperation systems in comprehensive and multiple fields. Chengdu Microsoft Cloud Acceleration Base signed on June 16th is the first influential project since the signing of this Memorandum.
Relevant responsible officials from Chengdu Hi-Tech Industrial Development Zone indicated to further take good use of Microsoft’s first class technical capacities and professional experiences, extend cooperation in fields including innovation industrial cultivation, entrepreneurship enterprise incubation acceleration, smart cities and so on, foster “Internet Plus” emerging industries especially those in Chengdu Hi-Tech Industrial Development Zone, promote entrepreneurship enterprises to be relevant applications in Chengdu Hi-Tech Industrial Development Zone on this cloud platforms, introduce Microsoft advanced technologies, jointly create the whole comprehensive industrial ecological circles for entrepreneurship enterprises from the beginning to mature period, accelerate the gathering and integration of innovation and entrepreneurship elements, and construct this base into a top acceleration in Western China and a first class one in China.
