On May 19th, China Auto Venture Capital Summit and China (Sichuan) Auto Industrial Investment Cooperation Conference was held in Chengdu. Mr. Yin Li, Vice Secretary of Sichuan Provincial Committee of the CPC, Governor of Sichuan Provincial People's Government, attended the summit and delivered a speech.
With the theme of “focusing on new energy and seeking for new development”, the summit attracted the responsible managers from 200 domestic and overseas well-known companies including Volkswagen, Hyundai, Flat Chrysler, Bosch, Michelin, BAIC Motor, Geely, Tesla, Baidu and so on to discuss the development of auto mobile industry.
On behalf of Sichuan Provincial Committee of the CPC and Sichuan Provincial People's Government. Governor Yin Li extended sincere welcome to the guests present at the summit. He mentioned that auto mobile industry was experiencing in-depth reform globally and environmental protection, energy conservation, new energy automobile and relevant component industries would be new investment points. Sichuan Provincial Committee of the CPC and Sichuan Provincial People's Government were actively complying with the development trends in auto mobile industry, enlisted auto manufacturing industries especially new energy automobile industry as high-end industries to foster and support, and strove to develop automobile industry. Sichuan would adhere to the equal importance of finished vehicle manufacturing and core part producing, be devoted to improving automobile manufacturing system, and strive to achieve new achievements in annual capacity and output. Sichuan would also adhere to the combination of independent innovation and opening introduction, vigorously develop new energy vehicles, strengthen the construction of supporting service systems such as charging and so on, spare no efforts to foster new energy automobile industry into an industrial cluster with an output of 100 billion, and build Sichuan into a base for new energy automobile manufacturing and application. Sichuan would also insist on the integration of information technologies and manufacturing technologies, actively support the construction of technical alliance to improve combination solving of key and core technical problems, highlight on introducing fist companies and advanced technologies, enhance the coordinating development between automobile manufacturing industry and producing services, and strive to form a sound pattern of mutual supporting and coordinating development between automobile research and development and supporting services. He hoped to deepen exchanges and cooperation with well-known companies and associations with the opportunities of this summit, and welcome sincerely guests to visit, inspect and invest in Sichuan, share the advantageous opportunities of Sichuan automobile development and work together to create the beautiful future of automobile industry.
Mr. Wang Xia, China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, Automotive Industry Committee, and Mrs. Du Hong, Co-President of Sina, also delivered speeches at the summit. Sichuan Provincial Economic and Information Commission promoted Sichuan automobile industry at the summit.
Mr. Gan Lin, Vice Governor of Sichuan Provincial People's Government, also attended the summit.
On May 18th, Governor Yin Li respectively met Mr. Yin Tongyue, President of Cheryl Automobile, and Shan Xiangshuang, President of China Science and Merchants Investment Management Group, attending the summit.
