On April 21st, Mr. Yin Li, Vice Secretary of Sichuan Provincial Committee of the CPC, Governor of Sichuan Provincial People's Government, in Chengdu met Mr. Richard Solomon, CEO of InterContinental Hotels Group.

　　On behalf of Sichuan Provincial People’s Government, Governor Yin Li extended sincere welcome to the visit of Mr. Solomon and heartfelt gratitude towards the long-term supporting to the development of Sichuan. He mentioned that Sichuan was equipped with plentiful tourism resources and unique advantages, emerging new tourism attractions. He hoped that InterContinental Hotels Group could further increase their investment on Sichuan, share new development opportunities of the blooming tourism, and look forward to extend in-depth cooperation with IHG in the fields such as talent training and so on.

　　Mr. Solomon said that Sichuan had an important position in the global layout of IHG. In recent years, the inspiring tourism development of Sichuan indicated enormous market and businesses opportunities for IHG. IHG would excavate cooperative potentials with Sichuan in all levels, bring more advantages to Sichuan and assist the service industry development of Sichuan.
