| Second Day of Consuls General in Chengdu Visiting Tibetan Region of Sichuan |

July 29th was the second day for Consuls General in Chengdu Visiting Tibetan Region of Sichuan. On the early morning, they departed from Kangding and headed for their next destination with full expectation, namely, Danba County of Ganzi.
The scenery along the road was beyond description. Xindu Bridge, a beautiful place, was located approximately 80 km in the west of Kangding. The sky was dotted with white clouds. Groups of yaks were roaming on the stretches of green mountains where clear rivers winding through. All of these were just like a piece of beautiful melody, going with these consuls general.
The journey of 5 hours was nor boring at all. Mr. Gan Teng Kiat, Consul General of the Republic of Singapore in Chengdu, stared at the window and praised, “How beautiful it is!” This was his first visit to Tibetan Region in Sichuan. He just saw some pictures before of Tibetan Region. “It is quite different to see in eyes than in pictures. How blue is the sky!” He praised again and again that now there were few pure natural resources left. Mr. Raymond Greene, Consul General of the United States in Chengdu agreed with him immediately, “Such beautiful scenery, especially such blue sky, is actually rare!”
In the afternoon, the car team passed through Tasong Prairie and Yala Snow Mountain which impressed them again. Ms. Bhaviwarn Noraphallop, Deputy Consul General of Royal Thai in Chengdu, was worried about altitude reaction, but the beautiful scenery relaxed her immediately. She even made jokes.
Consuls general also stopped to gaze at the ancient residential towers at Suopo County, Danba County. These towers with long history attract their attention. In the evening, girls and men from Danba welcomed these distinguished guests with passionate dances. Warmed by their enthusiasm, consuls general also danced with them.
In recent years, Ganzi has achieved remarkable achievements in infrastructure construction, culture, education, hygiene and so on, which impressed consuls general deeply. They congratulated to Ganzi for the achievements and expressed their willing to corporate with Ganzi.
On the morning of July 30th, consuls general inspected famous Jiaju Tibetan Village and then headed for Aba.
