The 1st Sichuan International Travel Expo has achieved bountiful fruits. Reporters learned from Sichuan Travel Investment Promotion and Contract Signing Ceremony held in Emeishan City on the afternoon of September 27th that there have been approximately 200 travel programs signed between Sichuan and overseas and domestic enterprises with a total volume of 131.85 billion yuan. Mr. Wei Hong, vice secretary of Sichuan Provincial Committee of the CPC and governor of Sichuan Provincial People’s Government, attended the contract singing ceremony.

　　The programs signed on this ceremony include infrastructure construction, cultural tourism, rural tourism, self-driving tourism, mountain tourism, hotel construction, comprehensive development, product transaction and so on. The Second Phase of Citic Guoan Emei International Mountain City Program has the planning investment of 20 billion yuan, the largest contract of all, aiming to develop Four Seasons Mediation International Vocation Area and Damiao Feilai Hall and Avalokiteshvara Lake Taoist Culture Experience Area in the next 5 to 8 years, crating a special leisure vocation area with the functions of experiencing regions and cultures, cultural study, sightseeing, health preservation and vocation.

　　60 major travel projects are seeking for investment, including 11 self-driving base construction programs in Wenjiang Chengdu, Ya'an, Ganzi, Panzhihua and so on, 10 cultural tourism programs, such as Aba Miyaluo Zang Cultural Tourism Area, 39 vocational programs, such as Ziyang Sancha Lake Health and Vocation Program.

　　Leshan, Meishan, Ya'an and other cities signed Strategic Cooperation Contract on Working Jointly to Achieve Leaping Development of Tourism Industries in Big Emei Area.

　　Mrs. Huang Yanrong, vice governor of Sichuan Provincial People’s Government, and other officials from relevant municipal and provincial departments also attended the contract signing ceremony.
