On December 12th, US local government delegation underwent their initial visit of Sichuan. On the same day, Mr. Zhong Mian, member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Sichuan Provincial Committee, managing vice governor of Sichuan Provincial People’s Government, in Chengdu met the delegates. Both parties showed cooperative intention in education, culture and trade, etc. 

      The delegates of US local government delegation came from 8 states. After visiting Huaxi Middle School, Chengdu Hi-Tech Industrial Development Zone and the construction of new rural areas, Mrs. Rebecca Kleefisch, leader of this delegation and lieutenant governor of Wisconsin State, indicated that Sichuan shared many similarities with Wisconsin, such as developed agriculture and manufacturing. Besides, Sichuan's development in fields like biomedical, aerospace and so on was also impressive.
