On October 30th, Mr. Wei Hong, vice secretary of Sichuan Provincial Committee of the CPC and governor of Sichuan Provincial People’s Government, investigated areas directly administered by Tianfu New District. On November 5th, Mr. Wei went to Shuangliu Sub-District and Longquanyi Sub-District of Tianfu New District to have a comprehensive understanding of their current development situation and futur bearing capacity. He clearly demanded to clarify and optimize functional position and predominant industries of all sub-districts of Tianfu New District, promoted investment globally strictly in accordance with functional position, accelerated the speed of clustered modern high-end industries into Sichuan Tianfu New District, and created another industrial Chengdu as soon as possible.

　　Mr. Wei Hong headed for Shuangliu Airport Bonded Logistics Center and Express Center, Chengdu Hangyu producing aviation engine with rhenium super-therm alloy plane leaves program, Industrial Park of University of Electronic and Technology of China, and Moldova Wine Mart of Comprehensive Bonded Zone Imported Drinks and Food Exhibition Center, and so on, for details of stock industrial project promotion and land support and guaranteeing for incremental industries, inquired suggestions and advice from responsible persons of the projects concerning accelerating promoting the development of Tianfu New Distinct, and encouraged to share new advantages of this district in order to create a prestigious brand of Tianfu New District.

　　After carefully listened to work report concerning construction of responsible officials from Shuangliu Sub-District and Longquanyi Sub-District of Tianfu New District, Mr. Wei Hong pointed out that the National Council had approved to established Sichuan Tianfu New District into national new district and Sichuan Provincial Committee of the CPC Sichuan Provincial People’s Government grasped the historical opportunity and put forward a series of work arrangements for enhancing and accelerating the construction of this district. Therefore, departments of all levels should be active and have a clear map for development based on the sound learning of specific situations and work out development measures. Besides, relevant departments should make a detailed planning for Tianfu New District as soon as possible, particularly researching and evaluating industrial planning and implementation. They should further clarify specific position and leading industries of every areas, promote investment globally strictly in accordance with functional position, and attract a number of high-end industries and their projects to settle at this district. Those industrial projects not in accordance with functional position, especially outdated projects, should be moved out to make more room for the clustering of high-end industries. He suggested to consider the comprehensive development needs of all the areas and Tianfu New District, perfect management system and operating system, and promote the initiative of accelerating development of Tianfu New District from all levels.
