Themed "Prospering New Popular Literature and Art, Co-Creating Audio-Visual Works for the New Era", this year's convention aims to build five major platforms: authoritative release, achievement showcase, industry empowerment, innovation practice, and public sharing. The convention will include a main forum, thematic forums, a symposium for internet audio-visual enterprises, and the 2026 internet audio-visual innovation exhibition and exchange open day. It will release the Report on China's Internet Audio-Visual Service Development (2026), launch the micro-drama creation program commemorating the 90th anniversary of the victory of the Long March by the Red Army, and kick off the 2026 "Seeing China" Global Broadcasting campaign, among other activities. The convention will also feature 18 thematic activities, including a keynote speech session by operators of knowledge-focused short video accounts, a forum on innovative development of Guofeng (traditional Chinese fashion) ACG, an AI super creator challenge, and a creator economy forum. The main forum will invite heads of leading platforms, experts, and scholars to deliver keynote speeches and engage in roundtable dialogues on topics such as high-quality industrial development and technological innovation and integration. The thematic forums will focus on eight hot areas, including micro-dramas, new technology empowerment, two-way empowerment between mainstream media and internet audio-visual content, and the global expansion of Chinese internet audio-visual works.

The convention will collaborate with local enterprises in Chengdu to hold nearly 20 industry events, including campus recruitment fairs for internet audio-visual enterprises and investment promotion sessions. Yang Zheng, Deputy Director General of the Department of Network Audio-visual Program Management of the National Radio and Television Administration, stated that the convention, through a series of innovative measures, aims to create an industry event that is more globally oriented, more innovative and dynamic, and more youthful in spirit.
