On the evening of April 6, the reporter learned from the Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism that during the Qingming Festival holiday, the 899 A-level scenic spots included in the provincial statistics received a total of 14.991 million visits and generated 142 million yuan in ticket revenue, representing year-on-year increases of 16.1 percent and 18.1 percent, respectively. The libraries, cultural centers and museums across the province collectively drew in 1.8367 million visits, up 56.63 percent year-on-year. The province's holiday cultural tourism consumption showed strong growth momentum, presenting a new pattern of the holiday economy characterized by province-wide vitality and full-chain integration.

During the holiday, the top ten A-level scenic spots in the province by ticket revenue were: Mount Qingcheng and the Dujiangyan Irrigation System Scenic Area, Jiuzhaigou Scenic Area, Mount Emei Scenic Area, Jianmen Shudao Jianmen Pass Scenic Area, Chinese Lantern World Scenic Area, Leshan Giant Buddha Scenic Area, Chengdu Polar Haichang Ocean Park, Chengdu Happy Valley, Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding, and Bifengxia Scenic Area.

Study tours have led to a surge in travel enthusiasm. The province's cultural tourism system has rolled out a series of themed premium travel routes under the "Spring Break in Sichuan" initiative, covering areas such as Tianfu culture, the Three Kingdoms and Shudao, western Sichuan's hidden wonders, the homeland of giant pandas, cultural museums and intangible cultural heritage, and red historical sites. It has also released the "Exploring Sichuan's Spring Charm: Reading the Land Through Travel" guide, featuring three distinctive spring break experience options. More than 100 scenic spots across the province offered free admission to primary and secondary school students, teachers, and other eligible groups. The markets for short- and medium-distance study tours, science education tours, and parent-child travel were extremely vibrant. Chengdu launched the "Read Tianfu and Enjoy Chengdu" initiative. The "Night Tour of Jinjiang River" offered a spring study tour "classroom" featuring a small boat, a winding spring river, and an elegant cultural gathering, attracting nearly 100,000 local residents and tourists. The "Fall in Love with Ya'an" spring break study tour series continued to roll out, creating over 50 study tour products, including "Enter the World of National Treasures and Discover Panda Culture" and "Follow the Scent of Tea and Explore Its Wonders". Themed routes centered on key study tour programs, such as archaeological study tours at the Mengxihe Site in Ziyang, red-themed study tours at the hometown of Chen Yi, science education tours at the Anyue Grottoes Digital Exhibition Center, and "technology + culture" study tours at the Ziyang Fantawild Park, were highly favored, becoming popular choices for primary and secondary school students during the spring break and Qingming Festival holiday.

Cultural and museum venues continued to draw large crowds. During the holiday, cultural and museum venues across Sichuan held 83 themed exhibitions and 171 special social education activities. The Sichuan Museum launched special courses such as "The Fun of Pottery in Konglong: An Archaeological Adventure". The Chengdu Wuhou Shrine Museum held a Three Kingdoms-themed experience activity under the theme "Meet the Marquis in Spring and Pay Tribute to the Chancellor". The San Su Shrine Museum in Meishan offered activities such as Song Dynasty dian cha art (tea whisking, creating tea art in cups), recitation of Su Dongpo's poems, and a pinecone-themed handicraft activity called "Sending Thoughts with Pinecones". The Sanxingdui Museum in Guanghan held experiential activities under the theme "Meet Sanxingdui in Spring, Touch Civilization with Your Hands", including relic rubbing, mask painting, and cultural creative handicrafts, allowing visitors to experience the charm of the Land of Abundance in an immersive way.

Distinctive scenarios and innovative business formats have attracted large crowds. "Dreams of Qingcheng", the province's first immersive performance town, has been continuously packed with visitors since its opening on April 1. The "Tour Yibin After the Spring Festival Gala" themed activities continued to gain momentum, and immersive experiences at Lizhuang Ancient Town and other places created new hotspots for regional cultural tourism consumption. The "Jinxiu Cuisine Show" immersive performance in Jinjiang District, Chengdu, presented seven chapters, bringing to life vivid scenes of Sanxingdui, the Three Kingdoms, the Su family of Meishan (Su Dongpo and his father and brother), and the vibrant daily life of old Chengdu. The synergy of diverse scenarios helped unlock consumption potential. The Da Shu Dao Three Kingdoms City of Endless Nights in Guangyuan has been upgraded with multiple interactive spots for visitors, making it a popular destination for family travel.
