The 114th CFDF to Kick off in Chengdu in March
Updated: 2026.01.29

On January 26, the press conference for the 114th China Food and Drinks Fair (CFDF) and the 2026 Spring CFDF Season was held in Chengdu. It was learned from the conference that the 114th CFDF will be held from March 26 to 28 at the Chengdu Century City and the Western China International Expo City. The 2026 Spring CFDF Season, a month-long city-integrated consumption promotion event, will be launched concurrently, creating an immersive experience system based on the concept that "the entire city serves as the fairground".

This edition of the CFDF will feature a total exhibition area of 325,000 square meters and is expected to host over 6,600 high-quality companies worldwide from the food, beverage, and associated upstream and downstream sectors. It will achieve several "firsts". Notably, the "one city, two venues" layout will have distinct positioning for the first time: the Western China International Expo City will focus on "delicious foods", while the Century City will spotlight "fine drinks", with both venues responding to the fair's overarching theme. For the first time, multiple professional zones will be introduced, including the Food Packaging &Supply Chain exhibition area, the Beverage Raw Materials &Ingredients Supply Chain, and Private Brands &Industrial Services, achieving comprehensive coverage of the entire industry chain. In another first, a full-hall-scale Green Agriculture exhibition area is planned, creating an efficient bridge that connects high-quality, green agricultural and sideline products directly from the field to the consumer's table.

To help foster new quality productive forces, this edition of the fair will debut two dedicated zones: a Yellow Rice Wine and Wellness Wine Zone will systematically showcase the integration of traditional brewing techniques with modern health concepts, while a Chengdu Liquor Industry Zone will centrally exhibit Chengdu's innovative achievements in the upgrading of the baijiu industry. Furthermore, this year's CFDF will, for the first time, host a dedicated matchmaking session focused on green agriculture for product selection. The 2nd National Food Industry Channel Summit will also adopt a full-day format for the first time, becoming one of the largest and highest-caliber production-and-sales matchmaking gatherings in the food industry this year.

After three years of development, the Spring CFDF Season has evolved into a distinctive new cultural hallmark of urban consumption in Chengdu. The 2026 Spring CFDF Season will be anchored by three flagship events—an International Youth Innovation &Entrepreneurship Conference, a Dynamic Competition, and a Global Food &Wine Carnival—while integrating corporate brand activities to cultivate a comprehensively international and youthful urban atmosphere, thereby driving consumption upgrades and enhancing city-wide vitality.

A series of consumption promotion activities will be rolled out during the 2026 Spring CFDF Season. The Asia-Chengdu-Europe National Pavilion gathers a collection of distinctive goods and cultural-creative products from various countries. Meanwhile, duty-free stores and cross-border e-commerce offline experience shops across Chengdu will concurrently launch promotional campaigns. Twenty-three districts (county-level cities, counties) across Chengdu are coordinating efforts. Seventy-three key commercial districts and 251 distinctive commercial streets citywide will launch promotional activities themed around the fair. Holders of valid fair tickets or electronic credentials can enjoy benefits such as "buy one, get one free" offers at over 100 popular scenic spots, cultural and museum venues, and similar establishments throughout the city.
