The Well-known Chinese and Foreign Enterprises' Visit to Sichuan 2025 Event Kicks off in Chengdu
Updated: 2025.09.25

On September 23, the Well-known Chinese and Foreign Enterprises' Visit to Sichuan 2025 event (hereinafter referred to as the "Visit to Sichuan" event) kicked off in Chengdu. At the event, two sets of data drew particular attention. First, 14 major projects with a total investment of 35.9 billion yuan were signed on-site, all focused on new quality productive forces. Second, over 70 percent of participating enterprises aligned closely with Sichuan's "15+N" key industrial chains development focus.

These two datasets clearly underscore the core objectives of this "Visit to Sichuan" event: vigorously attracting cutting-edge projects that develop new quality productive forces, and steadfastly advancing the development of key industrial ecosystems and supply chains.

Project Introduction: Focusing on Emerging and Future Industries

"A significant number of projects signed and landed this year fall into the categories of emerging and future industries," noted multiple enterprise representatives after the opening ceremony, echoing a shared observation. The reporter learned that during the "Visit to Sichuan" event, 340 investment cooperation projects are slated to be signed, with a total investment value of 263.06 billion yuan. Among these, projects within Sichuan's six major advantageous industries account for over 80 percent, while those in emerging and future industries constitute 39 percent.

The embodied AI humanoid robot manufacturing headquarters base, the western headquarters and production base for Beijing Infervision's AI mobile vehicle-mounted medical services, and the core integrated circuit equipment R&D and production base... After reviewing the 14 representative projects signed at the opening ceremony, the reporter was left with a distinct impression: an overwhelming momentum towards "new quality".

The western headquarters and production base for Beijing Infervision's AI mobile vehicle-mounted medical services, located in Zigong, stands as a prime example of this trend. "Sichuan possesses abundant medical resources. We aim to transform these resources into a new form of AI-powered medical services through our mobile vehicle-mounted medical equipment, making high-quality healthcare accessible to more people," introduced Chen Kuan, Chairman of Infervision Medical Technology Co., Ltd. "Through this project, we aspire to establish a benchmark for mobile smart healthcare applications, creating a demonstrative effect across the country."

As a crucial engine driving the development of new quality productive forces, artificial intelligence emerged as a high-frequency keyword throughout the "Visit to Sichuan" event. "We plan to build a demonstration base in Mianyang that integrates the assembly, production, and testing of embodied intelligent humanoid wheel robots, interactive logistics scenario displays, and headquarters operations. The first phase will establish a production line with an annual capacity of 1,000 intelligent robot units," introduced Li Ming, Vice President of Shanghai Unix AI Technology Co., Ltd. He explained that the decision to locate its first production base in Mianyang was driven by the city's solid industrial foundation. "Mianyang possesses a comprehensive supply chain advantage in the field of humanoid robots, which will significantly facilitate our subsequent product iteration and technological upgrades."

Currently, Sichuan is accelerating the development of new quality productive forces and solidly advancing high-quality development. During the recent "Visit to Sichuan" event, a batch of projects emblematic of new quality productive forces were signed and materialized, underscoring a "two-way effort" between enterprises and the local government. This dynamic has opened up considerable potential for investing in Sichuan.

Sending a Clear Message: Co-creating the Industrial Ecosystem

Following the main event of the "Visit to Sichuan" event, Huang Jin, Founder and CEO of Beijing Zhongwang Yiqixiu Technology Co., Ltd., plans to conduct an in-depth inspection of investment opportunities in various cities and prefectures. "For a digital creative enterprise like ours, perfecting the layout of our industrial ecosystem is crucial. We hope this event will help us connect with more upstream and downstream partners to expand our 'circle of friends,'" Huang Jin stated.

Huang Jin's objective aligns precisely with the core message conveyed by this event: to co-create an industrial ecosystem. In 2024, focusing on 15 key industrial chains, including artificial intelligence and software &information services, Sichuan Province has established a collaborative advancement mechanism with an organizational architecture of "chain leader + deputy chain leader + leading department + primary host locations + collaborative development locations". Among them, the spillover effects generated by key "chain-leading" enterprises are rapidly driving the development of other firms within their industrial ecosystem.

"Since the beginning of this year, we have partnered with five innovative companies in the low-altitude economy sector to establish operations in Leshan, covering various fields from upstream analog chips and AI to downstream industrial drone manufacturing," introduced Liu Ruopeng, Chairman of KuangChi Science Co., Ltd. He added that the company, focusing on the drone and general aviation industry, has fostered a new ecosystem characterized by "the chain-leading enterprise taking the lead, with the headquarters of five upstream and downstream firms congregating".

Echoing the central theme of "building industrial ecosystems and strengthening chains", projects under the "15+N" key industrial chains accounted for approximately 45 percent of the total investment volume secured during the "Visit to Sichuan" event. Furthermore, the Invest in Sichuan Guide: Opportunity List for "15+N" Key Industries in Building Industrial Ecosystems and Strengthening Chains, released for the first time during the event, encompasses three lists of resource utilization projects, chain-strengthening, consolidating, and extending projects, and application scenario projects. The guide compiles 100 high-quality projects selected from over 1,500 cooperative opportunities listed online, providing enterprises with a clear path and an actionable investment roadmap.
