On July 1, five Greek internet celebrities arrived in Chengdu aboard the return leg of the inaugural Chengdu-Athens flight, launching a five-day "Chinese and Greek Internet Celebrities Explore Famous Cities" activity.

The five Greek influencers visiting Sichuan are established content creators with strong cross-platform appeal. The twin sisters behind "greek_twins", who are Ambassadors of Greek Tourism, share travel stories on Bilibili and Xiaohongshu. The couple bloggers "tripawayzz", active on Instagram and TikTok, excel at documenting romantic travels around the globe. Erini, a Greek music professor and cultural ambassador, shares content about cultural exchanges on Xiaohongshu and Weibo. They are not only the first batch of experience officers for this new air route, but also non-governmental envoys for cultural and tourism exchanges between China and Greece.

That day, Greek singer Erini stood by the grey-brick walls of Chengdu's Kuanzhai Alley, performing China's iconic folk melody "Jasmine Flower" in Chinese. Amidst the bamboo chairs of Heming Teahouse in People's Park, Sofia of the "greek_twins" shared her interpretation of ānyì (leisurely) with the reporter, "It's about mastering life's rhythm—much like in Santorini, where people pause for afternoon coffee by the sea. Here in Chengdu's teahouses, everyone gathers over tea for lóngménzhèn chats, equally immersed in savoring the present moment." The five Greek influencers will further explore Sichuan's cultural treasures. At Sanxingdui Museum, they will witness the "trans-temporal resemblance" between bronze masks and ancient Greek artifacts. In Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding, they will fulfill their followers' dreams of "cloud-petting" the bamboo-munching icons. Through visits to the Sichuan Museum and Du Fu Thatched Cottage, they will dialogue with ancient Shu civilization and the poetic elegance of verses. Moreover, they will immerse themselves in modern business districts and local communities, capturing Sichuan's vibrant development through their lenses.
