The 15th Western China International Sourcing Fair (WCISF) is scheduled to take place from May 25 to 29 at Hall 15 of the Western China International Expo City. As a main event of the Western China International Fair (WCIF), the WCISF this year is centered on the theme "Deepen Reform for More Momentum, Expand Openness for Greater Growth". It establishes a platform for international procurement and supply chain cooperation, enables domestic and global enterprises to deepen their integration into worldwide industrial and supply chains, and thus contributes to building a new pattern of development.

The current WCISF is hosted by the United Nations Procurement Division (UNPD) and the United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS), organized by the Circulation Industry Promotion Center under the Ministry of Commerce, the Department of Commerce of Sichuan Province, the Sichuan Provincial Bureau of Economic Cooperation, and the Sichuan International Expo Group. Participants from over 60 countries and regions, including the United States, Australia and Spain, will be invited to the event, comprising government representatives, officials from embassies and consulates in China, and leaders of overseas business associations, transnational corporations and leading enterprises. The gathering aims to enhance supply-sourcing matchmaking among enterprises and domestic buyers.

This edition of the WCISF will present a "1+5+N" specialized event lineup, including the Signing and Launch Ceremony of the WCISF, the 2025 United Nations Procurement Seminar, the WCIF Trade &Commerce Key Procurement Projects Promotion Conference, the Key Industry Promotion Conference, dedicated WCISF matchmaking sessions, and the Western China Cross-Border E-Commerce AI Supply Chain Trade Fair, alongside various other activities.

As of now, the organizing committee has received a number of procurement demand lists from institutions such as the UNOPS, the UNPD, the Sichuan Energy Conservation and Low Carbon Association, the Sichuan Electric Power Enterprise Association, and the Tianfu Mercantile Exchange, as well as from enterprises like SHEIN and eBay.

This event will leverage the "Data Intelligence Exhibition and Convention Platform" and the "Expo Chain Express" cloud platform to deliver a digital sourcing solution that combines offline exhibitions and online ecosystems. Powered by an AI-driven smart matching system, it aims to achieve full-scenario, precision matching of supply and demand information, thereby advancing a comprehensive upgrade of exhibition services toward intelligence, precision and efficiency.
