On the morning of May 13, the Sichuan Province Low-Altitude Economy Industrial Chain Collaborative Development and Product Launch event was held in Chengdu, under the theme "New Blue Ocean of Low-altitude Economy · Soaring Together Toward the Future". Wang Xiaohui, Secretary of the CPC Sichuan Provincial Committee and Chairman of the Standing Committee of Sichuan Provincial People's Congress, attended the launch event. Shi Xiaolin, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Sichuan Provincial Committee and Governor of the People's Government of Sichuan Province, delivered a speech.

Before the launch event, Wang Xiaohui, Shi Xiaolin, and others visited the Provincial Low-Altitude Airspace Operations Service Center for an inspection. They listened to reports on the province's innovative integrated operation mechanism for provincial and municipal low-altitude service institutions, as well as the efforts to enhance the capabilities of low-altitude operation management and service support, and inspected the operation of the low-altitude traffic service management platform. At the venue, Wang Xiaohui, Shi Xiaolin, and other attendees toured exhibition displays showcasing various low-altitude economy products, including unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), general aviation aircraft, and counter-UAV systems. Wang Xiaohui pointed out that the low-altitude economy is a quintessential example of new-quality productive forces. In recent years, the CPC Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping at its core has included the low-altitude economy in the strategic emerging industries and issued a series of policies to provide strong support, ushering in vast development opportunities for the sector. As one of the initial pilot provinces in China for the collaborative management reform of low-altitude airspace, Sichuan has made proactive exploration in areas such as infrastructure construction, airspace operation management, and revitalization of low-altitude airspace resources. In particular, since last year, the provincial Party committee and the provincial government have implemented a series of arrangements focused on developing the low-altitude economy. Thanks to the collective efforts of all involved, new progress has been achieved across various aspects of the initiative. The province has the foundation and conditions to seize the opportunities within the low-altitude economy, this new blue ocean, and it will surely make great strides in this regard. The entire province must deeply implement the important directives and instructions of General Secretary Xi Jinping regarding the development of the low-altitude economy. Leveraging this launch event as an opportunity, we should further seize the moment and strive for progress, focus on promoting the deep integration of technological innovation and industrial innovation, intensify ongoing efforts to make breakthroughs in core technologies in key fields of the low-altitude economy, actively cultivate and attract "chain master" enterprises in the industry, and move faster to extend, consolidate and strengthen the industrial chain, aiming to build a low-altitude economy industrial cluster characterized by its competitive strength and industry-leading position. Efforts should be made to create a favorable ecosystem for promoting the development of the low-altitude economy, vigorously expand application scenarios, strengthen policy support in areas such as talent and finance, establish and improve a low-altitude governance and management system, effectively ensure low-altitude safety, and strive to build a low-altitude economy hub in the western region.

On behalf of the CPC Sichuan Provincial Committee and the People's Government of Sichuan Province, Shi Xiaolin expressed gratitude in her speech for the longstanding support and assistance provided to Sichuan by various sides involved. She said, developing low-altitude economy is a major decision made by the CPC Central Committee. The provincial Party committee and the provincial government attach great importance to the development of the low-altitude economy, consider it a key focus for promoting high-quality development and cultivating new quality productive forces, set the goal of building a low-altitude economy hub in the western region, and have issued specific guidelines. Sichuan has also allocated special provincial fiscal funds to support the development in areas such as infrastructure, application scenarios, scientific and technological research breakthroughs, and equipment manufacturing. We will take this event as an opportunity to further leverage Sichuan's advantages, such as its relatively abundant airspace resources, robust scientific research capabilities, and complete industrial chains. We will fully connect various resources, expand and enrich application scenarios, accelerate the cluster ecosystem-building and chain-strengthening within the industry, improve the safety supervision system, continuously elevate our capabilities in infrastructure construction, airspace management and services, general aviation equipment manufacturing, and industrial supporting cooperation, cultivate and expand the application market, and promote the low-altitude economy effectively to facilitate the sector's progress in takeoff, capacity-building and regulated growth, thereby achieving high-quality development. Currently, Sichuan now stands at a propitious moment for the development of the low-altitude economy. Dong Weimin, Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Sichuan Provincial Committee and the Executive Vice Governor of the People's Government of Sichuan Province, presided over the launch event. The event featured the official release of Sichuan's Several Policy Measures to Support Low-Altitude Economy Development and a presentation on the province's low-altitude operation management pilot program. The event also showcased iconic products and application scenarios of the low-altitude economy, including electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft, multifunctional large-scale UAVs, heavy-lift cargo UAVs, mobile UAV and hangar integrated systems, low-altitude intelligent air traffic management systems, countermeasure equipment against low-altitude aircraft, and passenger-grade general aviation aircraft. Additionally, four short-haul passenger transportation general aviation routes, two cargo general aviation routes, and two cargo UAV routes were announced.

Provincial leaders Cao Lijun, Chen Wei, Tian Qingying and Li Wenqing, Mayor of Chengdu Municipal People's Government Wang Fengchao, leading officials from relevant provincial departments and certain central organizations in Sichuan, heads from municipal (prefectural) Party committees or governments, persons in charge of relevant scientific research institutions and higher education establishments, and representatives from well-known enterprises and investment and financing institutions in the low-altitude economy, among others, attended the launch event.
