The Department of Commerce statistics show that from April 4 to 5, the province's 550 key commercial circulation enterprises generated 1.501 billion yuan in sales revenue (turnover), marking a year-on-year increase of 5.3 percent.

During the Qingming Festival holiday, various regions in Sichuan organized a diverse range of integrated consumption promotion activities in conjunction with the "Spring Initiates Infinite Possibilities" Tianfu Consumption Season, continuously creating new consumption scenes and launching seasonal new products. The main urban commercial areas exerted their strengths, offering a rich and vibrant array of activities. The MixC Shopping Mall Chengdu hosted activities such as "Ready, Set, Go" and discount vouchers for spending, where customers could receive a 100 yuan voucher for every 800 yuan spent in stores specializing in clothing, accessories, leather goods, and children's retail. Dazhou Renhe New City launched a "Spring Membership Season" promotion, driving consumption to over 50 million yuan. Neijiang Wanda Plaza organized the "Bloom in Style, Elegance in Joy" festival, where all merchants jointly offered various discounts, achieving an average daily turnover of about 3.7 million yuan, a 20 percent year-on-year increase.

Additionally, various regions are actively launching integrated consumption scenarios that blend commerce, culture, tourism, and sports. The Chengdu Guanghua commercial district launched activities like "Grains of Adventure – The Grave Robbers' Chronicles Pop-up Store Flash Sale in Wenjiang" and the "Spring Art Festival", recording over 430,000 customer visits and generating 35.53 million yuan in sales volume, representing an eight percent year-on-year growth rate. In the Luomashi Commercial Zone of Chengdu, the "Qingming Elegant Gathering" market opened to full capacity, featuring traditional cultural projects such as Hanfu attire experiences and intangible cultural heritage workshops, attracting a large number of young consumers. Over three days, the market welcomed over 800,000 customer visits, with revenue surpassing 350 million yuan.

The consumer goods trade-in program has maintained its strong momentum. Suning.com in Deyang City launched its Spring Home Appliances and Decor Festival, achieving a 188 percent year-on-year sales surge during the Qingming holiday. Automotive companies, such as Zigong Xinyueheng Automobile Trade Co., Ltd., initiated promotions like the "Limited-Time Snap Up" and "Car Trade-ins for Spring Outings", driving a 30 percent year-on-year sales increase. Additionally, businesses such as Haisheng Commerce and Trade (JD Electronics) hosted "Super Brand Day" and other events, experiencing over a 50 percent rise in customer footfall compared to the same period last year. Statistical data indicates that as of April 6, the province has received 110,700 applications for the vehicle trade-in program, stimulating 18.439 billion yuan in consumption. The trade-in program for home appliances and digital products has generated 4,316,900 applications, contributing to a consumption increase of 13.912 billion yuan.

Urban hotel accommodations showed exceptional performance. In Zigong, a city renowned for its culinary and entertainment offerings, downtown hotels like the Dinosaur Hotel, Huidong Hotel, and Ji Hotel became the favored choices for accommodations prior to the holiday. These business hotels reported an occupancy rate of over 95 percent in the first two days of the holiday period. Scenic spots in Bazhong, including Jiuzhai Mountain, Tianchi Tribe, and Enyang Ancient Town, have introduced activities featuring intangible cultural heritage displays and Hanfu attire experiences, boosting the occupancy rates at nearby homestays and agritainment venues to over 85 percent. Cultural, tourism and sports consumption activities flourished with great vibrancy and diversity. In Mianyang City, Jiangyou's Fantawild Oriental Heritage held the Flower Exploration Festival. Santai's Tongchuan Ancient City launched activities like the Flower Goddess Ceremony, Flower Goddess Parade, and Ancient Street Parade. Panzhihua boosted its floral tourism appeal by showcasing spectacular blooms of jacarandas, flamboyant trees, and bougainvilleas, introducing eight dedicated flower-viewing routes that spurred a 19.12 percent year-on-year increase in consumption. In Liangshan's Xichang City, cultural tourism events like the "Tulip Exhibition" and the "Thousand-Mu Pear Garden Tour" were organized to boost consumption, drawing nearly 700,000 visits and approximately seven million yuan in spending.

During the holiday period, as dining-out enthusiasm surged among residents, local governments actively encouraged catering businesses to launch diverse food promotion campaigns. According to the Department of Commerce's monitoring, the 137 catering enterprises surveyed within the province achieved an operating revenue of 335 million yuan, a year-on-year growth of 7.5 percent.
