At the Consumer Products Expo, a panda-themed train captures the spotlight. Smart glasses, equipped with real-time language translation features, play a key role in facilitating negotiations between international business representatives. On April 13, the 5th China International Consumer Products Expo (CICPE) commenced. Amidst the extensive exhibition space showcasing an array of innovative and unique consumer goods, the Sichuan Pavilion made its debut, introducing the latest consumer scenarios and technological advancements. The pavilion served as a dynamic platform for product launches and project presentations, drawing substantial crowds of intrigued visitors.
The total exhibition area of this CICPE exceeds 160,000 square meters, attracting over 4,100 brands from 71 countries and regions to participate. The Sichuan Pavilion, crafted by the Department of Commerce, embraces the theme "Relax in Sichuan - A Better Life". It highlights new economic formats, such as debut economy, low-altitude economy, anime economy, and silver economy, and displays over 100 quality and new consumer products from more than 40 well-known enterprises in the province, vying for attention on the global stage. On the left, cultural and creative products from the movie "Ne Zha 2" are displayed, while on the right, various drone exhibits form a new scene representing the low-altitude economy. The front display area of the Sichuan Pavilion instantly attracts large crowds upon its opening with these impressive products.
In just over 30 minutes, Sichuan INMO Technology Co., Ltd. received more than ten business visitors. "Smart glasses have become a major hit in the tech consumer products sector since last year. We have successfully developed several new models of smart glasses. These products have now progressed to the mass production phase," said a person in charge from INMO Technology. This executive explained that at this expo, the company brought two AI+AR smart glasses (combining artificial intelligence and augmented reality technology), which have functions such as translation, captioning, multi-screen display, and audio-visual entertainment.
The debut economy is a popular field that is currently being actively developed domestically. The Panda Factory has grown into a leading cultural and creative brand with international influence, annually selling 40,000 top-trending, high-fidelity panda simulation dolls and generating an annual revenue of 40 million yuan. The company presented the offline debut of its "1.5-Month Menglan" collection—a 1:1 scale replica of the beloved panda cub Menglan. Made with genuine wool and leather, this highly authentic Menglan panda model garnered significant interest from businesses seeking information and potential collaboration.
Sichuan Yinchuang Weiye Technology Company unveiled its inaugural intelligent portable karaoke jukebox, which aligns perfectly with the current consumer demand for personalized experiences. "In settings like weekend getaways and outdoor parties, the karaoke jukebox that offers an extensive song catalog, extended battery life, high-definition video playback, and superior sound quality is highly sought after," explained Li Fangxuan, the company's regional manager. Li introduced that last year, the company's full product range captured over 30 percent of the domestic market share. This year, the company will closely follow consumer trends and develop more high-quality products with excellent cost performance.
The Sichuan Pavilion not only provides a platform for numerous new scenarios and products to debut but also transforms into a roadshow venue. It hosts project presentations by multiple enterprises in front of the exhibition hall, aiming to introduce more innovative and high-quality consumer products to broader domestic and international markets.
