Huang Qiang, on behalf of the CPC Sichuan Provincial Committee and the People's Government of Sichuan Province, extended a welcome to Princess Sirindhorn for her visit to Sichuan again and provided a concise overview of the province's latest development. He said that Her Royal Highness symbolizes the deep bond between "China and Thailand as one family" and is a good, long-time friend of the Sichuan people. Her Royal Highness has made multiple visits to Sichuan, and particularly following the devastating 5.12 Wenchuan Earthquake, the Princess generously contributed funds to support the reconstruction of Mianyang Xianfenglu Primary School and has provided hands-on guidance during several visits to the school, which is profoundly moving. This act is of great significance for promoting lasting friendships across generations between the two countries, and the people of Sichuan will forever cherish the profound benevolence exhibited by Princess Sirindhorn. Geographically close, interconnected through people-to-people exchanges, and bound by cultural ties, China and Thailand share a deep bond. Sichuan will earnestly implement the important consensus reached by the leaders of the two countries, continuously deepen and expand educational exchange and cooperation with Thailand, strengthen economic and technological cooperation, and ensure that the friendship between Sichuan and Thailand remains evergreen.

She hopes to further enhance mutual exchanges and understanding between Thai and Sichuan youngsters, strengthen cooperation in fields such as Thai language and culture courses, as well as science and technology, and make greater contributions to the ongoing deepening and development of China-Thailand friendship.
