Shi Xiaolin stated that Sichuan and Finland enjoy a long history of friendly exchanges, with cooperation in various fields progressing steadily. Two places exhibit strong complementarity in economies, opening up vast opportunities for mutually beneficial cooperation. It is hoped that, under the strategic guidance of leaders of the two countries, the two sides will collaboratively harness the emerging trends of globalization, foster closer cooperation platforms, and continuously expand the space for economic and trade exchanges in fields such as new energy, new materials, electronic information, and artificial intelligence, deepen cooperation in cultural tourism, educational and sports exchanges, healthcare, and youth communication, among other aspects, establish more friendly-city relationships, and facilitate the timely resumption of direct flights. Sichuan welcomes Finland to participate actively in major events, such as the World Games 2025 Chengdu, the Belt and Road Conference on Science and Technology Exchange, and the Western China International Fair. Together, we consistently elevate the existing friendly ties and practical cooperation to new heights.
