The application for the first batch of Famous Tianfu Tourism Brands was initiated. The application channel for the status as famous towns, famous villages, famous B&Bs, famous tour guides and famous products has been opened.

　　From this year, Sichuan will carry out the selection (recommendation) annually of no more than 10 famous towns and no more than 30 famous villages each year. Outstanding B&Bs, tour guides and products will be selected and named or recommended and released according to related application and recommendation.

　　The selection of the first batch of Famous Tianfu Tourism Brands is carried out based on the experience in building Famous Tourist Counties of Tianfu. The event aims to build a cultural tourism brand system with Sichuan's characteristics. This system covers all tourism elements, namely food, accommodation, traveling, touring, shopping and entertainment. It strives to guide all localities in the province to give play to the demonstration and leading role of brands and constantly improve the popularity, reputation and influence of Sichuan's cultural tourism. Six contents are included: famous towns, famous villages, famous B&Bs, famous tour guides, famous products (cultural and creative products and tourist commodities) and delicacies. Among them, 100 Tianfu tourism dishes were announced a few days ago.

　　Sichuan Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism has joined hands with some departments to develop the management methods for the selection of famous towns, villages, B&Bs and tour guides of Tianfu tourism and the methods for the selection and release of famous Tianfu tourism products as well as the corresponding scoring rules.
