Few days ago, Chongqing Liangjiang New Area and Sichuan Tianfu New Area held the 3rd Joint Conference on Co-establishment of Inland Opening-up Portal to Support the Construction of Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle and launching ceremony for Industrial Flagship Alliance of Liangjiang New Area and Tianfu New Area.

　　On February 28, 2020, the 1st joint conference was held between the two parties. Over the past year, Liangjiang New Area and Tianfu New Area have made significant phased achievements through multi-dimensional and multi-level exchanges and cooperation, including co-establishment of a new system for regional integration and collaborative intergrowth, co-construction of a new framework for multi-dimensional cooperation in multiple fields, co-exploration of a new mechanism for collaborative development of industrial economy, co-creation of a new pattern for interconnection of national and international opening-up; and joint building of a new network for innovative resources utilization and regional coordination.

　　In this year, the two parties set a goal to realize new breakthroughs in nine aspects,  including new breakthrough in opening-up linkage to create an inland opening-up portal with high standards and at high levels, and strive for the settlement of national major strategic projects and pilot demonstration projects, so as to jointly build up an inland pilot zone for opening-up economy; new breakthrough in innovation linkage to jointly win over the priority in the settlement of national major strategic projects and "Major Programs of Scientific and Technological Innovation 2030" and make joint efforts to build up national demonstration plot for major science and technological collaboration innovation; new breakthrough in industrial linkage to establish industrial alliance of automobile, electronics, innovation, exhibition, finance, digital economy, headquarters economy and bio-medicine; new breakthrough in reform linkage to jointly propel the construction of Sichuan-Chongqing Free Trade Pilot Zone and Demonstration Plot for Collaborative Opening-up; new breakthrough in urban linkage to explore the new path and pattern together for urban development in the coming future, conduct innovation demonstration of sustainable development, and probe and implement reform and innovation for urban ecological land; new breakthrough in talent linkage to bridge cooperation in terms of talent attraction, research on talent development and mutual policies recognition, to further develop into a pacesetter for talent development; new breakthrough in governance linkage to deepen exploration of mechanisms of cross-regional application for law supports, mutual recognition of economic hardship standards and matters related to law supports, etc.; new breakthrough in ecological linkage to carry out in-depth cooperation in terms of eco-environmental protection, service economic development and park city construction, and jointly focus on the overall eco-environmental protection in the upstream of Yangtze River; new breakthrough in party construction to strengthen exchanges and cooperation in a multi-level, wide-ranging and all-round way and find out a path and pattern for collaborative innovation driven by party construction.

　　During the Joint Conference, a launching ceremony was held for the Industrial Flagship Alliance of Liangjiang New Area and Tianfu New Area. The two parties planned to set up an industrial flagship alliance in automobile manufacturing, electronic information, science and technological innovation, cultural creation and exhibition, modern finance, digital economy, headquarters economy and bio-medicine, purposing to flourish leading industries and their clusters and promote the development of emerging strategic industries.

　　Chongqing Yuelai Investment Group Co., Ltd. and Sichuan Tianfu International Conference & Exhibition Co., Ltd. signed a cooperation agreement on the site. The two parties will conduct multi-level cooperation in multiple fields like project co-organization, innovative cooperation, and talent cultivation, jointly explore new patterns of "One Exhibition for Two Cities", "Joint Organization" and "In-turn Organization", and go hand in hand to win over the organization of national and international exhibitions and activities with high standards, so as to push forward the permanent settlement of high-level exhibition projects.
