Sichuan Provincial Development and Reform Commission has recently released a list of projects to "shore up weak spots" in key areas like infrastructure to introduce private capital in 2021, including a total of 97 projects with a total investment of 89.1 billion yuan.

　　The List was selected and determined by the Sichuan Provincial Development and Reform Commission and the Sichuan Provincial Federation of Industry and Commerce in accordance with the basic principles of appropriate project investment scale, clear return mechanism, reasonable expected returns, and active support from the government. The List mainly includes projects of new infrastructure, transportation, agriculture, forestry and water conservancy, urban infrastructure, warehousing and logistics, ecological and environmental protection, social undertakings, cultural tourism, and industrial development. Among them, transportation and urban infrastructure projects are in large demand for funds. Many projects are indicated to be controlled by private capital. The projects concerned cover 15 cities (prefectures) including Chengdu, Panzhihua, Luzhou and Suining.

　　The construction project of Longquan Section of Chengdu Fifth Ring Road that has received much attention is included in the list, which is in the early stage of planning. With a total investment of 7.22 billion yuan, it is the largest single investment project listed. The construction of the Chengdu-Chongqing economic circle is regarded as one of the key areas. In the list, Guang'an presented the construction project of the Central Park in Guang'an Economic and Technological Development Zone and the ecological belt on the east bank of the Qujiang River, with a total investment of 2.09 billion yuan. It is planned to attract 1 billion yuan of private capital to build the Central Park, ecological green belt along the river, ecological facilities along the river, tourist roads and cycling system along the river, lighting along the river and other public services and commercial service facilities.

　　In terms of cultural tourism projects, Deyang announced the proposed project of Sanxingdui National Cultural Relic Protection and Utilization Demonstration Area, including the Sanxingdui Ancient Shu Cultural Relics Museum, Sanxingdui Cultural Industry Park, the reconstruction and construction of Sanxingdui Ancient Shu Cultural Relics Area, and construction of roads, greening, pipe networks and other supporting infrastructure.
