On January 8, the Chongqing Economic and Information Technology Commission and the Sichuan Provincial Economic and Information Department issued the "Announcement on the First Batch of Industrial Cooperation Demonstration Parks in the Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle". Chongqing Rongchang High-tech Industrial Development Zone and Sichuan Longchang Economic and Technological Development Zone are listed in the first batch of 20 industrial cooperation demonstration parks in the Chengdu-Chongqing economic circle.

　　In October last year, the two sides jointly formulated and issued the "Administrative Measures for the Establishment of Industrial Cooperation Demonstration Parks in the Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle ("Measures" for short)", and started the application for the establishment of the first batch of industrial cooperation demonstration parks. The application procedures consist of application of the industrial park, preliminary review and recommendation by the city (autonomous prefecture) and district (county), expert review, review by leading Party groups of the two sides and plenty more. In the end, the first batch of industrial cooperation demonstration parks in the Chengdu-Chongqing economic circle includes Sichuan Longchang Economic and Technological Development Zone, Sichuan Yibin Sanjiang New District, Sichuan Zigong High-tech Industrial Development Zone, Sichuan Suining High-tech Industrial Park, Sichuan Hejiang Port-surrounding Industrial Park, Sichuan-Chongqing Gaozhu New District, Sichuan Kaijiang Economic Development Zone, Sichuan Deyang Economic and Technological Development Zone, Sichuan Ziyang High-tech Industrial Park, Sichuan China-German (Pujiang) Small- and Medium-sized Enterprise Cooperation Zone, Chongqing Rongchang High-tech Industrial Development Zone, Chongqing Qijiang Industrial Park, Chongqing Liangjiang New Area Yufu Industrial Development Zone, Chongqing Jiangjin Industrial Park , Chongqing Kaizhou Industrial Park, Chongqing Hechuan High-tech Industrial Development Zone, Chongqing Airport Industrial Park, Chongqing Dazu High-tech Industrial Development Zone, Chongqing Tongnan High-tech Industrial Development Zone, and Chongqing Yongchuan High-tech Industrial Development Zone.

　　According to the "Measures", the establishment of demonstration parks requires the collaborative creation of key industrial clusters such as electronic information, automobiles and motorcycles, equipment manufacturing, consumer goods, materials, and bio-medicine. The industrial parks in Chengdu and Chongqing that meet the requirements for establishment, based on their resource endowment, industrial foundation, transportation location and other conditions, should jointly build industrial cooperation demonstration parks through functional co-building, industrial co-building, industrial supporting, resource development, and enclave economy. The two parties applying for the establishment of an industrial cooperation demonstration park should have the basic conditions of a friendly relationship, a clear cooperation direction, a solid industrial foundation, a large development space, and a complete service system, so that they can support the development of related industrial clusters in the future.

　　The construction of the industrial cooperation demonstration park will highlight the development and construction of the park, optimization of industrial layout, investment attraction for key projects, building of public platform, building of industrial ecology, development of industrial clusters, and talent exchange and training while carrying out pilot demonstration projects, and establishing and improving the normal working mechanism.
