On April 25, Sichuan Tourism Investment Group Co., Ltd. was unveiled in Chengdu, which will reorganize Sichuan Tourism Development Group, and Jinhong Group to promote further upgrading and integration of the tourism resources of Sichuan, so as to facilitate Sichuan to transform from a province with rich tourism resources to one with strong tourism economy.

　　The enterprise is invested and established by State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of Sichuan Province, Sichuan Development Holding Co., Ltd., Sichuan Provincial Investment Group Co., Ltd., Sichuan Airlines Group, and Sichuan Energy Investment Group Co., Ltd., with a registered capital of 6.375 billion yuan.

　　The enterprise covers five sections including hotels, scenic spots, air travel, and cultural development, with focus on setting up platforms for tourism industrial transformation, strategic integration of tourism resources, and tourism investments of state-owned capitals. By integrating the tourism resources from both inside and outside, it will take the lead in stimulating all kinds of capitals to flow into Sichuan tourism so as to promote the tourism industry to transform from extensive growth model to intensive growth model. It is projected that by 2020, the company, with the assets exceeding 10 billion yuan, will become a first-level and world-famous modern tourism service investor and operator with Sichuan characteristics and a world brand of tourism destinations, representing a Sichuan image.

　　After the opening ceremony, the company signed cooperation agreements respectively with Zhonghe Three Agricultural Group, PICC, Hong Kong Investment Group, and Beijing Engineering Company Limited of China Railway Urban Construction Group, with the investments surpassing 10 billion yuan.
