Biography

　　Zhong Mian, male, Han nationality, was born in Qianwei, Sichuan Province in May, 1963. He joined the Communist Party of China (CPC) in May, 1983 and started his career in July, 1984. Mr. Zhong graduated from Southwest University of Finance and Economy with a PhD degree, specializing in Socialist Market Economy Research.

　　Mr. Zhong now serves as member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Sichuan Provincial Committee, vice governor of Sichuan Provincial People’s Government and member of leading Party group.

　　Mr. Zhong is a deputy to the 17th and 18th National Congress of Communist Party of China, a deputy to the and 12th National People’s Congress and a deputy to the 10th, 11th and 12th Sichuan Provincial People’s Congress.

　　Responsibilities

　　Mr. Zhong is responsible for the executive work of the Sichuan Provincial People’s Government. He helps the governor to take charge of auditing work. He is responsible for finance, taxation, supervision, land resources, human resources, social security, foreign affairs.

　　He is also in charge of General Office of Sichuan Provincial Government, Sichuan Provincial Department of Supervision, Sichuan Provincial Department of Finance, Sichuan Provincial Department of Human Resources and Social Security, Sichuan Provincial Office of Foreign Affairs, Sichuan Provincial Bureau of Local Tex, the Work Committee for the Offices Directly under the CPC Sichuan Provincial Committee, Sichuan Provincial Bureau of Minerals, Sichuan Provincial Metallurgical Exploration, Sichuan Provincial Administration of Archives, Sichuan Provincial Office of Legislative Affairs, Sichuan Provincial Commission Office for Public Sector Reform, Sichuan Provincial Government Beijing Office, Sichuan Provincial Advisory Office, Sichuan Provincial Office of Emergency Management, Sichuan Provincial Commission of History Editing, Sichuan Provincial Administrative Service Center, Sichuan Provincial Public Resources Transaction Service Center, Sichuan Administration College, etc.    

　　He serves as the liaison with Sichuan Provincial People’s Congress, CPPCC Sichuan Provincial Committee, Sichuan Provincial Administration of State Bureau, Sichuan Provincial Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, etc.
