  2. Documents issued by Chinese embassies and consulates in foreign countries certifying relevant overseas educational institutions;

  3. Sample of involved advertisements;

  4. Form for filing of the advertisements (available at the window for the department of education at the Administrative Services Center of the People’s Government of Sichuan Province or at http://www.sczw.gov.cn and http://www.scedu.net)

  ◆Conditions for approval

  1. Sino-foreign-run educational institutions or programs examined and approved by education administrations above province level;

  2. the Sino-foreign-run educational institutions or programs need to release prospectuses and advertisements. 

  ◆Legal basis

  1. Paragraph 1 of Article 33 of the Regulations of the People’s Republic of China on Sino-foreign-run Educational Programs (Order No.372 of the State Council, March 1, 2003) provides: “Prospectuses and advertisements of Sino-foreign-run educational institutions shall be registered with approving authorities for the purpose of filing.”

  2. Article 47 of the Implementing Measures for the Regulations of the People’s Republic of China on Sino-foreign-run Educational Programs (Order No.20 of the Ministry of Education, June 2, 2004) provides: “The samples of the prospectuses and advertisements of Sino-foreign-run educational institutions or programs shall be registered with approving authorities for the purpose of filing in a timely manner.”
