On April 9, under the organization of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China, diplomatic envoys and representatives posted in China from 30 countries and international organizations visited the Sanxingdui Museum, experiencing firsthand the historical and cultural heritage of Deyang. Special Representative Wu Hongbo of the Chinese Government on European Affairs accompanied them on the visit.

At the Sanxingdui Museum, the delegation explored various exhibitions, such as "Pursuing Dream in the Century," "Majestic Capital," and "The World of Humans and Gods." Guided by the museum interpreter, the delegation explored the cultural relics from Sanxingdui comprehensively, including bronze, gold and jade-stone wares, delved into the profound cultural and artisanal accomplishments of the ancient Shu civilization, and gained a deeper appreciation for the enduring legacy of Chinese civilization and the distinctive allure of the Sanxingdui culture.

As the delegation navigated the museum, they immersed themselves in a dynamic interaction of walking, listening and observing. They frequently paused to contemplate and exchange thoughts on particular artifacts, documenting their observations through photographs and videos on their mobile phones, thus preserving cherished moments of their visit. The members of the delegation collectively remarked that the artifacts, with their distinctive forms and exquisite craftsmanship, showcase the superb artistic ability and unique aesthetic sensibility of the ancient Shu people, embody the radiant brilliance of human wisdom over the course of history, providing them with a more vivid understanding of the ancient Shu civilization. Through today's visit, they have gained an appreciation for Deyang as a city rich in history and cultural depth. Moving forward, they will continue to be concerned about and promote Deyang, fully explore the prospects for cooperation, and foster comprehensive engagement and interaction with the city.
