　　Huang, on behalf of CPC Sichuan Provincial Committee and People's Government of Sichuan Province, welcomed them to Sichuan for the 18th WCIF and expressed gratitude for their long-standing concern and support for the economic and social development of the province. He said, in recent years, Sichuan had been thoroughly putting into practice Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, promoting regular and precise pandemic prevention and control as well as economic and social development, and ensuring stable economic performance with good momentum for growth. He encouraged the guests to seize opportunities brought by the construction of the Chengdu-Chongqing economic circle and unique, competitive clean energy of Sichuan to contribute to having CO2 emissions peak before 2030 and achieving carbon neutrality before 2060. They should tap into their strengths, respond to national strategies, launch more quality projects in the province based on the development orientations and industrial needs of Sichuan, and further deepen cooperation for win-win results. As a result, they can grow their companies while assisting the province in progressing towards high-quality development.
