On September 23, the People's Government of Sichuan Province and the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (ICBC) signed a comprehensive strategic cooperation agreement on the construction of Chengdu-Chongqing economic circle in Chengdu. Peng Qinghua, Secretary of the CPC Sichuan Provincial Committee, and Yin Li, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Sichuan Provincial Committee and Governor of the People's Government of Sichuan Province, met with Chen Siqing, Chairman of the ICBC, and they together witnessed the signing of the agreement.

　　During the meeting, Peng Qinghua, Yin Li and Chen Siqing exchanged views on seizing the opportunity of building the Chengdu-Chongqing economic circle, comprehensively upgrading the level of cooperation, establishing and improving the cooperation guarantee mechanism, and making solid efforts to implement the agreement.

　　At the signing ceremony, Zhang Yan, Secretary-General of the People' Government of Sichuan Province, briefed attendees on the agreement. Vice Governor Li Yunze and Vice President of the ICBC Wang Jingwu signed the agreement on behalf of the two sides. Under the agreement, the ICBC will build a closer, stabler and win-win strategic cooperative relationship with the province, increase resource allocation and input in next five years and provide a full range of financial services to support major infrastructure construction in the province, innovate ways serving modern industry development and vigorously develop inclusive finance, jointly promoting the integration development of science, technology and finance, building a western financial center and advancing the crucial poverty alleviation and rural revitalization to promote the construction of Chengdu-Chongqing economic circle.
