On September 19, the provincial government signs a strategic cooperation agreement with CATL. Yin Li, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Sichuan Provincial Committee and Governor of the People's Government of Sichuan Province; Zeng Yuqun, Chairman of CATL witnessed the signing ceremony.

　　According to the agreement, CATL will deploy production and R&D bases in Yibin and other places of Sichuan Province to construct a whole industry chain system of lithium battery and strive to build a world-class lithium battery industrial cluster. The two sides will also fully cooperate in the fields of next-generation batteries, new energy vehicles, self-driving, advanced energy storage, mobile interconnected energy management, and jointly build comprehensive bases of new energy industry.

　　Vice Governor Li Gang and Assistant to Chairman of CATL Qu Tao signed the contract on behalf of both sides.

　　Before signing the contract, Yin Li met with Zeng Yuqun and his party to welcome CATL to Sichuan for investment and development. The two sides exchanged views on seizing the opportunity of the energy revolution, accelerating the implementation and construction of major new energy projects in Sichuan, and promoting green development and so on.

　　Zhang Yan, Secretary-General of People's Government of Sichuan Province and heads of Yibin City attended the signing ceremony and the meeting.
