According to the joint office for promoting the construction of Chengdu-Chongqing economic circle, it officially issued a list of two batches of Sichuan-Chongqing cooperative projects a few days ago. There are 31 projects in total, with an investment of about RMB 556.3 billion.

　　Among them, transport development is the most important. With the goals of building the internally interconnected one-hour transport network and opening up major omni-directional access roads to and from Sichuan, the investment amount of the 19 transport infrastructure projects reached about RMB 451.6 billion. There are five upgrading and reconstruction projects among them, namely Chengdu-Dazhou-Wanzhou High-speed Railway, Chengdu-Chongqing Middle Line High-Speed Railway, Chongqing-Xi'an High-speed Railway, Chongqing-Kunming High-speed Railway and Chengdu-Chongqing High-Speed Railway; there are 11 projects to improve the level of connectivity among adjacent areas of Sichuan and Chongqing, including expressways connecting Nanchong and Tongnan, Neijiang and Dazu, Zizhong and Tongliang, Jiangjin and Luzhou (north line), Luzhou and Yongchuan, as well as Kaijiang and Liangping, and Chongqing-Linshui Expressway, Suining-Tongnan Fast Track and Mingyue Mountain Tour and Health Road; the remaining three avionics projects for expanding the capacity of main lines of the Yangtze River and its main tributaries include Jialing River Lize Shipping Hub, cascade canalization of Shuangjiang River navigation power junction on the main streams of Fujiang River, and channel regulation in Chongqing section of Qujiang River.

　　In addition, there are five projects for improving logistics networks and ports, stations and logistics that connect internal and external hubs, including Western Chongqing and Southern Sichuan Comprehensive Logistics Park, Chengdu-Chongqing Logistics Distribution Center, Phase I Project of Dashaba Operation Area of Suining Port, Goods Yard Project at Gaoxing Station of Huaying, and Chongqing Weiyuan International Agricultural Products Wholesale Cold Chain Project; the five industrial projects include Western Chongqing Electronic and Circuit Industrial Park, Bashu Intangible Cultural Heritage Industrial Park, Daba Mountain International Tourist Resort, etc.; the last two new infrastructure projects are 5G network coverage and the AI integration platform.

　　The joint office is going to cooperate with relevant parties later to strengthen the regular coordinated scheduling and the conference-based consultation and review, deepen mechanisms for coordinated efforts to advance projects, implement the requirements for the commencement of the projects and make practical efforts to guarantee such elements as land and capital. Moreover, it is slated to coordinate related work and solve difficulties and problems existing in the project promotion in a timely manner and accelerate the implementation of the projects with all its strength. Meanwhile, the office will also continue to step up the reserve and strategic planning of major projects so as to keep enriching the project library.
