At the work meeting on the promotion of the construction of the Bashu Cultural Tourism Corridor in Chengdu on June 22, Chengdu-Chongqing Culture and Tourism Public Service Collaborative Development Cooperation Agreement was signed by Sichuan Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism and Chongqing Municipal Commission of Culture and Tourism Development. Framework Agreement on Establishing the Chengdu-Chongqing Public Library Alliance was signed by Chongqing Library, Sichuan Provincial Library and Chengdu Public Library.

　　According to the agreement, the overall goal of Chengdu-Chongqing culture and tourism public service collaborative development has been specified, which is to promote the construction of the demonstration area for the integrative and high-quality development of Bashu culture and tourism public service. The two places will work together to provide better and more cultural tourism facilities, offer more targeted and superior public services, and optimize public service supply channels so as to realize the interconnection, unified identification, interlinked information and resource sharing of the cultural tourism public service facilities in Chengdu and Chongqing, thus building Chengdu-Chongqing culture and tourism public service into a integrative and high-quality development demonstration area that benefits the two places, affects the whole country, and leads the era.

　　To achieve these goals, the two places will cooperate to promote the two key projects of the cultural tourism infrastructure upgrading project and the Bashu document protection and utilization project. Joint efforts will be made to promote the integration of the Chengdu-Chongqing Scenic Spot Map, the integration and standardization of tourism signs and labels along the Chengdu-Chongqing area. A batch of comprehensive Bashu tourism service centers with perfect functions and complete facilities have been newly built (reformed) at the city (prefecture) and county (city, district) levels together with eco-friendly tourism demonstration toilets. The Shu Document Center and the Ba Document Center have been established in Chengdu and Chongqing respectively as a part of the protection, research and utilization project coordination mechanism for the Bashu special collection document, so as to carry out the protection, research and utilization work, thus promoting the overall protection and utilization of the Bashu Documents.

　　The two places will also co-breed the three major regional brands, including the regional cultural event brand of “Cheng-Yu Land ? Ba-Shu Charm”, the western China public culture and tourism product service brand, and the Chengdu-Chongqing region cultural tourism public service digital brand. They will strive to hold the activities in turn such as “China Bashu Chorus Festival” and Tourism Service Product Purchasing Conference, interconnect the network of digital libraries and digital cultural centers in Sichuan and Chongqing, implement the "one card" service project and realize the "one-card" digital service goals, which means “free interlibrary loan” for books, "one-click appointment" for site activity training, and "one-click purchase" for public service and tourism products will all be made available.

　　In order to strengthen the collaboration between the public service industries of the two places, they will also establish a working group of culture and tourism public service collaborative development, set up a public library industry alliance and a cultural museum industry alliance in the Chengdu-Chongqing area, and work together to carry out national reading and national art popularization activities. In the meantime, a mechanism for the exchange of professionals has been established to provide support for the exchange of professionals in system design, project demonstration, and activity evaluation.

　　Since the first meeting of the Joint Conference of the Bashu Cultural Tourism Corridor Construction Special Working Group was held in April this year, the two sides have worked closely together to establish a total of four mechanisms, i.e. the Bashu Cultural Tourism Corridor Construction Special Working Group, joint office, coordination meeting and information submission. Some activities such as free travel in Bashu cultural tourism corridor have been held and a series of positive progress have been made.
