On October 24, The 1st Giant Panda National Park Nature Education Seminar & 4th China (Sichuan) Forest Natural Education Conference was held in Xingjing County, Ya’an City. The meeting released the Guidance on Promoting the Development of Natural Education for All jointly issued by the provincial forestry and grassland bureau, the provincial development and reform commission, the provincial department of education, the provincial department of finance, the provincial department of agricultural and rural affairs, the provincial department of culture and tourism, Sichuan Provincial Committee of the Communist Youth League, and the provincial working committee of caring for the next generation.

　　According to the Guidance, in order to promote natural education in an all-round way, Sichuan Province will fulfill five tasks, i.e. promoting natural education campaigns for all, building open spaces for natural education, strengthening the construction of natural education demonstration bases, cultivating diverse subjects of natural education, and expanding exchanges and cooperation on natural education in the next five years. In order to strengthen nature education, starting from 2021, the second week of March each year will become Week of Nature Education in Sichuan Province,during which the publicity and popularization of nature education will be carried out in an all-round way.

　　It is clear from the Guidance that by 2025, a development pattern of natural education for all in Sichuan will basically take shape, with a natural education participation of 90% among kindergartens, and primary and secondary schools, the public awareness of natural education up to 80%, 500 natural education fields dominated by bases and 500 natural education subjects. A number of natural education institutions, natural education tutors and natural education courses, routes and products will be cultivated and certified, and a group of high-quality natural education brands will be created to build our province into a national model province for natural education and an internationally renowned destination for natural education.
