On January 2, the Third Session of Southern Sichuan Economic Zone Joint Conference was held in Neijiang. Yang Xingping, Vice Governor of the People's Government of Sichuan Province and Deputy Convenor of Southern Sichuan Economic Zone Joint Conference, attended and addressed the meeting.

　　The meeting heard the work reports on promoting the integrated development of the Southern Sichuan Economic Zone in 2019 and work plans for 2020 of Sichuan Provincial Development and Reform Commission, Zigong City, Luzhou City, Neijiang City and Yibin City, and reviewed relevant documents on promoting the integrated development of the Southern Sichuan Economic Zone.

　　Yang said that under the correct leadership of the CPC Sichuan Provincial Committee and the People's Government of Sichuan Province, the four cities in southern Sichuan and the members of the joint conference had made encouraging progress in the integrated development by focusing on the work arrangements and key annual tasks of the joint conference, strengthening the sense of responsibility, taking proactive actions and enhancing coordination and linkage.

　　Yang stressed that parties concerned should unswervingly implement the New Development Philosophy, and strive to promote high-quality economic development; take solid measures to maintain steady growth, and ensure the steady and long-term economic development; actively integrate into the three-dimensional and comprehensive opening-up, and accelerate the building of important portals for southward opening-up; work together to promote regional integrated development, and foster new drives for economic development; ensure and improve living standards, and increase people's sense of benefit, sense of happiness and sense of security continuously.
