On the morning of September 8, the 7th China (Mianyang) Science and Technology City International High-Tech Expo concluded. At this expo, 105 investment and construction projects were signed with an investment of RMB 92.375 billion, of which 39 projects were with an investment of more than RMB 500 million.

　　With the theme of "scientific and technological innovation, deepening reform and openness and cooperation", this year's expo held 25 events, with 687 high-tech enterprises and institutions from 38 countries and regions participating. Among them, 17 well-known scientific and technological enterprises from Austria, the host country, participated in the exhibition. Meanwhile, countries and regions along the Belt and Road such as Russia, Czech Republic, and Israel, and 20 Global 500 enterprises including Panasonic, Microsoft, as well as 119 overseas enterprises also participated in the exhibition. With a total exhibition area of 70,000 square meters, the proportion of objects on display during the expo reached 97.5%, and there were 3,535 items on display and more than 10,000 scientific and technological exhibits. As of September 7, 119,000 people visited the exhibition, of whom 22,000 were professionals.

　　At this expo, a new generation of China's independently developed scientific and technological products, such as Mars probe, "China Science and Technology City Star" suborbital carrier rocket, high-temperature magnetic suspension train and 5G+ telemedicine, were all on display. In the exhibition area of China Science and Technology City, key enterprises in Mianyang and key investment attraction achievements were displayed. 94 enterprises such as Changhong, Sichuan Jiuzhou Electric Group Co., Ltd. and BOE all showed up at the exhibition, which brought the latest technology products such as flexible display screen, new generation airport broadband wireless communication system and integrated system of industrial Internet of things.

　　During the event, Mianyang has successively established the international sister city relationship with Lucca of Italy and Sumqayit in Azerbaijan.
