Recently, the inspection and acceptance team sent by the State Bureau ofForestry and Grassland completed the inspection and acceptance of the proposed National Wetland Park in the province, and closed the acceptance assessment in accordance with principle. The three wetland parks that passed the on-site inspection were the Heilongtan Wetland Park in Renshou County ofMeishan City, the Baihetan Wetland Park in Xinjin County of Chengdu, and the Guanyin Lake Wetland Park in Chuanshan District of Suining City.

　　Among the three wetland parks, Heilongtan Wetland Park is the largest with a total area of 4,403.88 hectares, and is built on the Heilongtan Reservoir. It mainly includes constructed wetlands and river wetlands. The second largest isBaihetan Wetland Park with a total area of 673.96 hectares. It includes permanent rivers and floodplain wetlands. The Guanyin Lake Wetland Park with an area of 475.28 hectares is dominated by marsh wetlands and constructed wetlands.
