From April 7th to 9th, Mr. Yin Li, Vice Secretary of Sichuan Provincial Committee of the CPC, Governor of People’s Government of Sichuan Province, paid an exchange visit to Argentina with a delegation.

　　Mr. Yin Li met with Ms. Gabriela Michetti,Vice President and Senate President of Argentineand thanked her for her great attention and effortsdevoted to developing friendly relations between Argentina and Sichuan. Mr. Yin Li introduced the situation of Sichuan's economic and social development. He hoped to further strengthen exchanges between Sichuan and Argentina, expand cooperation in a wide range of fields such as culture, education and sports, deepen cooperation in agriculture and tourism, and achieve mutual beneficial and win-win development.

　　Ms. Gabriela Michettiexpressed her warm welcome to the Sichuan delegation’s visit to Argentina and congratulated Sichuan and Buenos Aires on the establishment of friendly inter-provincial relations. She hoped that the two sides would work together to promote practical cooperation andmake new progress.

　　During his visit, the delegation held a Promotion Meeting of Sichuan in Buenos Aires. Mr. Yin Li said that even if China and Argentina are far away in distance, the two sidesare still friends and shared with their love for peace. In December 2018, President Xi Jinping paid a state visit to Argentina. China and Argentina are working together to create a new era of comprehensive strategic partnership. Sichuan adheres to the policy of opening-up to the outside world and is working hard to build a high-level inlandpilot free trade zone. We believe that the exchange of civilizations is an important driving force for the advancement of civilization and the peaceful development of the world. It is hoped that Argentine enterprises and business people will come to Sichuan to develop their businesses through exchanges and cooperation, and to further deepen cooperation with Sichuan's economy, trade, agriculture and cultural tourism, share development opportunities and achieve win-win development. More than 100 representatives from the business community of Argentine attended the Promotion Meeting. The Provincial Agricultural and Rural Affairs Office, theProvincial Ministry of Culture and Tourism, and related institutions and enterprises in Sichuan signed a memorandum of cooperation with the Argentine partners.

　　During this visit, Mr. Yin Li also met with Mr. Vidal, Governor of Buenos Aires and Mr. Zou Xiaoli, the Chinese Ambassador to Argentina. Sichuan and Buenos Aires officially signed an agreement on the establishment of friendly inter-provincial relations.
