| One-Hundred-Day Fight for the Rights of Migrant Workers, Legal Aid Has Delivered a Good Result |

On March 4th, the reporter learned from the Sichuan Provincial Department of Justice that the One-Hundred-Day special legal aid for migrant workers to collect their paysand wages and to protect their rights organized by Sichuan has delivered remarkable results. Sichuan accepted a total of 7469 similar cases, involving a total amount of 239.09 million yuan, and it has handled a total of 3,574 cases for migrant workers to help them claim their pays, which salvaged an economic lossof 114.43 million yuan.
This special activity is aimed at the work-related injuries, recollection of labor remuneration, labor service contracts, legal aid procedures, etc., which are of general concern by migrant workers. It has been flexibly graftedto a series of activities in Sichuanwhich called for migrant workers to return homes through early intervention and the development of a green channel forlaw assistancefor migrant worker, providing free consultation for migrant workers, and processing legal aid applications such as one-stop legal aid service. In conducting these special activities, all relevant departments have been engaged in close cooperation and recovered the wages of many migrant workers.
