| The Market Revenue of Sichuan Liquor Is Soaring |

Following the milestone of setting a 100 billion mark among the national liquor production areas in 2017, the liquor industry in Yibin continued arapiddevelopment in 2018, achieving a main business income of 113.774 billion yuan, an increase of 17.55%, and continued to lead the Chinese liquor production areas. On that same day, the reporter learned from the Luzhou Liquor Administration that the revenue generated by liquor in Luzhou exceeded 20 billion for the first time in 2018, and it has followed Yibin to become the second production area of Chinese liquor that boasts an income of 100 billion yuan.
According to the relevant person in charge of the YibinBureau of Liquor Promotion, from the three main indicators of production, main business income and total profit, the development of Yibin liquor industry in 2018 soared literally: the output of liquor enterprises above designated size registered 637,600 kiloliters, with a growth rate of 15.38%; the main business income hit 113.774 billion yuan, an increase of 17.55%; the total profit amounted to 22.223 billion yuan, an increase of 41.30%. The output, main business income and total profit accounted for 7.32%, 21.21% and 17.77% of the national total, up by 1.23%, 2.88% and 2.21% respectively.
Yibin, renowned as the “Liquor Capital”, has developed rapidly, and Luzhou, crowned as the “Liquor City”, has kept up with its development pace. According to data from the LuzhouBureau of Liquor Promotion, the growth rate of Luzhou'sliquor industry increased by 9.9% in 2018 compared with that of last year with an increasedyear-on-year liquor production of 9.9%; the business income of liquor-related industries reached 80.5 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 13.5%. The accumulated total profit reached 8.27 billion yuan, representing a year-on-year increase of 26.3%; the warehousing tax increased by 21% compared with that of previous year, registering a step closer to the goal of 100 billion.
In order to support the high-quality development of the liquor industry, in the end of last year, Yibin City issued theImplementation Opinions on Supporting the High-quality Development of the Liquor Industry, whose deployments centered around the production, sales, brand, culture and supervision of the Yibin liquor industry. It proposed to adjust and optimize the distribution of liquor industry, give play to the leading role of powerhouse enterprises, and encourage merger and acquisition of liquor companies. It formulatedfavorable measures of “one policy for one enterprise”. It urged us to strive to achieve a main business income of 150 billion yuan, taxrevenue of 20 billion, and over 10 enterprises with a main business income of 2 billion yuanin the liquor industry of Yibin City by 2021.
At the beginning of this year, the newly established Luzhou Liquor Industry Development Promotion Bureau was officially listed, which has integrated the work responsibilities and duties of the formerLuzhou City Bureau of Commerce and relevant agencies responsible for the development of the liquor industry.The Municipal Liquor Industry Development Promotion Bureau was established as the municipal governmental department. This year, we will focus on the development goal of 100 billion in the liquor industry, follow the inherited quality, accelerate the idea of building a “world-class liquor industry cluster”, and promote the implementation the five strategiesof “full industrial chain development, integrated enterprise development, cluster development of parks, core brand development, quality and safety”. We will strive to achieve 100 billion yuan revenue from the main business of Luzhou Liquor by 2020. We will stabilize the core position of China Liquor Golden Triangle, and basically form the internationally renowned liquor production area. The main business income of LuzhouLaojiao Co., Ltd. is to exceed 20 billion yuan, and strive to reach 30 billion yuan; Langjiu Co., Ltd. is to be listedsuccessfully with a main business income of over 20 billion yuan; Sichuan Wine Group company will continue to grow with a target main business income of over 10 billion yuan; China Liquor Golden Triangle Winery Park is to realize an annual output and service income of nearly 80 billion yuan.
